π« Itβs a connection deeper than you can imagine, and itβs waiting for you with Crystal Vision
In moments of uncertaintyβwhether you're resolving past issues, navigating a career change, or simply trying to understand your lifeβthe way forward can feel obscured. What you need most is not a prediction of the future, but a profound illumination of your present. You need practical, grounded clarity that empowers you to make the most conscious and confident choices for yourself.
This is the heart of Laurel Phoenixβs practice at Crystal Vision in Colorado Springs. As a Conscious Channel, she helps you access the deeper information you need to find your own answers. Her approach is built on a lifelong, innate connection to Spirit, guiding you back to your own inner wisdom.
Laurelβs guidance is delivered with a depth of compassion earned through profound personal journeys. Her own story is one of unimaginable resilience. After losing her child in a horrific accident that left her heartbroken and homeless, she had to start over from nothing. It was her spiritual foundation that gave her the strength to endure the unthinkable and rebuild her life. This lived experience of finding the way back from utter darkness allows her to hold space for others with true, non-judgmental understanding.
It is this unique combination of intuitive gift and experience that she brings to her work. Through Crystal Vision, Laurel helps clients with a wide range of needsβfrom releasing emotional trauma and overcoming fear through hypnotherapy to contacting departed loved ones and providing astrology insights. She draws upon nearly five decades as an Intuitive Counselor continuing a family lineage, a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Reiki Master, and an Ordained Minister.
π As an exclusive invitation to experience this guidance, Laurel is offering COS Town Tidings subscribers $10 off any private readings. This offer ends December 31st.

π§ Watch for Delays on the North Side

Big changes are coming to North Gate Blvd and Struthers Rd as El Paso County begins work on long-awaited stormwater upgrades. The project includes installing over 3,000 feet of new drainage pipes and building a permanent water quality pond to help manage runoff from heavy rains. Construction starts today and will continue into spring 2026, with traffic impacts expected in the coming months. While it may cause some delays, these improvements are an important step toward better water quality and safer roads.

π Is Car Insurance Relief Coming?

With Colorado drivers facing some of the highest car insurance costs in the country, Governor Polis has introduced a broad initiative to help bring those rates down. His plan includes more traffic enforcement, speed cameras, DUI checkpoints, and stronger penalties for auto theftβall with the goal of reducing accidents and claims. T
he governor also pointed to hail damage as a key reason rates have spiked in recent years. To help drivers shop smarter, the state is rolling out an auto insurance toolkit to make comparing policies and finding better deals easier. Combined, these steps aim to bring relief to drivers while making our roads safer. Full Story
π§ Seniors Lose Key Food Access

A recent Safeway closure on S Murray has left a noticeable gap in access for many local seniors. Just steps away from the Silver Key Apartments and Senior Services, the store was more than a place to shopβit offered walkable access to food, prescriptions, and even daily movement for residents aged 62 and older. With winter on the way, Silver Key is now working to help its residents navigate new transportation challenges and find nearby grocery and pharmacy options. Full Story
