Ruby’s skin erupted in angry hives within 24 hours of adoption. Jerrod Bohannon and Kariann Harker tried every topical treatment recommended, but the relief was always temporary. Here’s the latest…the United States Air Force Academy is pushing forward with renewed momentum on the Cadet Chapel restoration, one of the most complex construction projects in Air Force history. After overcoming unexpected challenges, including extensive asbestos removal and hidden structural issues, crews are now working year-round inside a protective enclosure to repair decades of water damage, correct design flaws, and modernize systems while honoring the Chapel’s original design.

The project includes restoring 24,000 stained glass panels, historic organs, pews, and exterior cladding, all with the goal of returning this national landmark to full service as quickly, and responsibly as possible.
