“I'm sure the majority of the public will vote against it and the city will still move forward with construction. That's what they do with everything.”

rea****@hotmail: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“Colorado Springs was founded on the spectacular views of the mountains. I am totally against seeing a monstrous building that I will be able to see from the Colorado Springs Airport. There should be no building taller than the tallest building standing downtown right now. ”

imj******@gmail: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“We don't want a skyline like Denver. Views are very important here.”

kin**********@elpasotel: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“Aside from the anesthetics, downtown streets have a difficult time handling existing traffic. Adding a higher population density can only make the problem worse. ”

bj*********@gmail: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“Don't turn Colorado Springs downtown into the concrete jungles of Denver!! It's what makes our town better, there's too many apartments being built as it is! Colorado Springs Native and Veteran ”

lso******@yahoo: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“We must have a lower level height "law" to preserve our smaller city character and prevents us from looking like all other large cities. If these developers want to build large buildings...build them east of Powers Blvd. My concern is that the powers that be will "override" the voters ""once again""! I moved to Colorado Springs in 1979 and I'm appalled by amount and kind of development to include the city annexing land regardless the lack of water bending over to developers' demands. I could go on but this is my mindset.”

ke***********@comcast: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“Let's block the view of the poor folk so the upper crust can have them all to themselves from their luxury apartments. NO WAY!!!! ”

pat**********@gmail:Selected Progress 🔥 Support high-rises for growth
“The city core needs to grow or die. Downtown development actually reduces suburban sprawl. Downtown looks like a relic from the 1970's - it's time to move it into the 21st century.”

rkd*****@aol: Selected Undecided 🤔
“I agree with limiting the height of buildings. The views are why people come here. I don't want my view of pikes peak blocked. The view needs to be preserved and protected that is what makes living here so special. ”

bk****@aol: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“It will look out of place!”

gyp*******@yahoo: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“Why is massive growth our priority!? More tax revenue? I do not see more services coming from any increase in revenue. Quite the extreme is true. Not enough police, firemen, road repairs, etc, etc. Most of us do not live here for big city density or traffic. Please keep us a beautiful place that highlights nature. ”

te********@gmail: Selected Progress 🔥 Support high-rises for growth
“Growth is inevitable - governments should utilize that into prosperity for it's citizens. Build this, then make the highest priority tearing down that ugly coal plant and leaving some prime real estate for developers - perhaps twin office towers? I think a few tall buildings up against the mountains would look pretty cool. And attract growth. And taxes. And jobs. And prosperity...”

prn****@msn: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“No on high rise ”

nan******@gmail: Selected Beauty 🖼️ Stand against
“So many new apartments down town the average wage earner cannot afford.”

Week-long journey to boost your kindness factor and self-improvement that will foster an overall healthier life for yourself and those around you.
