⚙️ Tech, Vets & Jobs in COS

A new chapter in Colorado Springs’ economic and tech story just quietly turned a page. Entegris, a global leader in materials science for the semiconductor industry, has officially opened the doors to its brand-new manufacturing center off Rockrimmon. While only about 100 employees are currently on-site, this high-tech facility is part of a larger vision—one that could eventually bring up to 600 jobs to our region, with a strong emphasis on hiring veterans and cultivating future talent through partnerships with UCCS, the School of Mines, and even local high schools. 🎻 Free Symphony for Fed Staff

Here’s a little something to lift the spirits—especially for those affected by the recent government shutdown. The Colorado Symphony is offering free tickets to federal employees (plus a guest!) for two upcoming concerts, if you can make it up to Denver. It’s a small but meaningful way to say thank you and offer a moment of calm through music.
Choose from a night filled with Mozart (Nov 7–9) or the vibrant energy of The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires (Nov 21–23). Just reserve your seats online with the code GOV25, and show your federal ID when you pick them up at Will Call. Whether you’ve weathered this shutdown yourself or know someone who has, this is a beautiful reminder that music has the power to connect and restore—even in uncertain times.

🤔 Rodeo HQ Might Leave COS

After more than 40 years of calling Colorado Springs home, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame are now considering a possible move to Cheyenne, WY. Talks with a development group up north have started to take shape, although nothing is set in stone just yet.
While these conversations are still ongoing and any potential move would be years down the road, it’s something many in our community are watching closely. The PRCA has deep roots here—not just in location, but in local tradition, history, and identity. Fortunately, the beloved Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo isn’t going anywhere soon. That event remains locked in at the Norris-Penrose Event Center through at least 2031. Full Story

🥘 Best Vegetable Lasagna

Recipe by COOKIE + kate
This vegetarian lasagna is cheesy (of course), and loaded with vegetables, spinach and a simple tomato sauce. If you have any meatless-meal skeptics in your life, this lasagna will change their mind.
