🌟 Local Spotlight: Pendleton Heating & Cooling

In our close-knit community of Colorado Springs, a beacon of warmth and reliability shines through Pendleton Heating & Cooling. Owned by the compassionate and dedicated couple Kip and Brandy Pendleton, this business isn't just about keeping your home's climate controlled; it's about building a legacy of care and professional excellence.

🏡 A Warm Foundation

Kip's journey in HVAC began in his hometown of Canon City, leading him to earn his credentials and become a cornerstone in the industry. When the opportunity arose to take over what was once Furnace Physicians, he and Brandy, a former public school educator with deep Colorado roots, stepped up to the challenge. Since 2019, they've been igniting the pilot light, guiding the business with a blend of technical expertise and a warm, personal touch.

🔧 Services That Go Above and Beyond

Being a full-service provider for the community's HVAC needs, Pendleton’s comprehensive furnace tune-ups, for instance, are a cut above the rest, ensuring every nook and cranny is cleaned and maintained. And in the dry Colorado air, their whole house humidifier installations are a godsend, offering comfort against the static-filled atmosphere.

💖 Community and Care

The Pendletons are more than service providers—they are active community members, participating in fundraisers and local outreach through "411 for the 719." They dream big, with aspirations to create a non-profit to help those in need with HVAC services, reflecting their deep commitment to the people around them.

🌡️ Warm Endorsements

Direct customer sentiments speak volumes. On Google, residents like Heath Shuford praise them as "lifesavers," while Peter Solie highlights Kip's ingenuity and professionalism. Patricia Hurley and Kathy Woodin share praises for their responsive, high-quality service. These stories aren't just reviews; they're chapters in the larger narrative of a business that puts people first.

🎁 Exclusive Offer for Our Readers

This is the time of year to think about your home's heating and air needs. Mention Colorado Springs Town Tidings for a special $20 discount on any service (minimum charges apply). It's the Pendletons' way of saying thank you to the community they serve.

For a service experience that feels like family, reach out to Pendleton Heating & Cooling at (719) 219-2190, PendletonHeating.com or follow their journey on Facebook.

Be part of their story and let them fine-tune the climate of your home's history.

📢 POLL RESULTS: Navigating the Migrant Support Dilemma in Colorado Springs

Thank you to all who participated in our poll! The comments were thought provoking. We always encourage respectful comments so we can consider different perspectives and know this is a safe space to start conversations. 🤗

Question was: How do you feel about the response to migrants arriving in our city? 🤷‍♂️

Support Local Government Stance:

  • deb****@gmail, "NO ILLEGALS!!"

  • lsch****@gmail, "Our once beautiful city is getting a bad reputation"

  • o**@usagr*******, "Residents first, and help others as available. If they want to be here legally, help them follow the established process, otherwise send them back until they’re serious about working to become Americans."

  • r**@yahoo, "I really hope that the local government sticks to the fact that Colorado Springs Will never be a sanctuary anything!! I also wish that Denver would not send any more migrants to our city! They opted to be a sanctuary city, they should deal with it!"

  • su*******@hotmail, "I do have empathy for the migrants. However, they are illegal and I don't feel it's everybody's responsibility to take care of them. I agree with Colorado Springs mayor that our resources need to go to take care of the citizens community"

  • g**@gmail, "The constraints placed on assistance is already suspicious when a family of 4 gets only minimal financial support, food stamps, etc, although the head of the household makes $16, while migrants can have 100% of their needs met, to include a free cell phone!! Reform how money is distributed! Policies should be reviewed and made fair for our local residents first."

  • f**@gmail, "Our country is a mess. We need to focus on our citizens first."

  • p**@msn, "We are not a sanctuary city"

  • b**@wind******, "Our legal citizens come first, let's hope the Mayors words translates to actions. Safeguard our communities."

  • r**@live, "We have many of our own citizens that need/use our resources. Our taxes and funding goes to support our own local community, I do not support taking that away from them and providing it to citizens who come our city with the intent of draining resources, committing crimes and overall not participating in becoming a part of the community but abusing it."

  • l**@yahoo, "These people are invaders, at best, and would be or current criminals and terrorists at worst. Greet them at their drop off point, arrest them, and ship them back to Mexico. Fine non-profits (10K per migrant per day) for providing ANY aid. If that doesn't work then REVOKE their non-profit tax status!"

  • n**@gmail, "More expense for local tax payers. We have enough people struggling to get by in this county , why would we support illegals "

  • c**@gmail, "Illegal migration will destroy what is left of our country. All Illegals should be deported immediately!"

  • su*******@hotmail, "I have no problem with people coming into our country than living in our cities. However, I do have a problem with the ones we call illegals because they do not come into our country the proper way. Our government money need to go to taking care of issues we have in our own communities with our citizens."

  • h**@hotmail, "We are not a sanctuary city and should be assisting our legal citizens and retired military,"

  • f**@aol, "I do not support any taxpayer support for any illegal migrants arriving in our city. Federal responsibility to clean up the mess they have purposely created."

  • w**@gmail, "The Colorado Springs Mayor's presentation was excellent, rational, calm and addressed the issues, resources available, what he has done, etc."

Support Nonprofits Compassion:

  • m**@gmail, "These people are human beings in need. They need assistance. How cruel it is for our "Leaders" to tell non profits to turn them away. I am volunteering to provide support but I will remember the City's stance at election time. I voted for the Mayor but he is as despicable as all others."

  • t**@gmail, "We can do better. There but for the grace of God go I."

  • a**@icloud, "The immigrants are political fodder. Shame on us. Most of our community would help if told what is needed."

  • v**@gmail, "If you say you are a Christian you must help. That is what Jesus taught us."

  • b**@boulier, "My grandparents were immigrants who came through Ellis Island to get out of Europe during WW1. I support immigration reform but the damn politicians need to work together"

Undecided:

  • t**@gmail, "As far as I'm concerned immigration is America's number one problem. And it's comical to watch these so called sanctuary cities stick their head in the sand until busloads of possible disease-ridden folks show up at their doorstep with nothing and they have to actually take care of them. Unfortunately I only see two ways to curb the problem - pay thousands and thousands (and thousands) of people to line up along the border, or build a wall. I don't want a wall, but the gov't is NOT going to pony up the billions every year it would take to hire enough help, and the influx is taking away the fabric of America and sending billions of dollars un-taxed back to the respective countries. The lack of revenue taxes our citizens, thus digging into our prosperity. So build the wall and let's start getting these oppressed people in LEGALLY so our great country can offer all of it's wonderful amenities, one being freedom and not having to hide...”

  • a**@sbcglobal, "Government should take care of its constituents."
