🎸 Uniting Colorado Springs Through Blues with Amy Whitesell
🎷Orchestrating Harmony: Two Decades of Music Magic 🎵
From the bustling streets of New York City to the serene landscapes of Colorado Springs, Amy Whitesell's journey is a testament to the power of passion and community. Since moving to the Pikes Peak region in 1981, Amy has become a cornerstone of the local music scene, blending her organizational expertise with her love for blues and live performances.
As one of the founders of the Pikes Peak Blues Community and the MeadowGrass Music Festival, Amy has spent nearly two decades curating unforgettable musical experiences. Her company, A Music Company Inc., established in 2006, orchestrates numerous concert series and festivals. From free concerts at Gold Hill Mesa to intimate performances at Coyote's Coffee Den in Penrose, Amy's events have become cultural touchstones in the region.
Amy's crown jewel is Blues on the Mesa, launched in 2021 to reunite the community during a time of isolation. Now in its fourth year, this festival has quickly become Colorado Springs' premier blues event. Set for Sat. Sept 28th, 2024, 11am-6:30pm, it offers a full day of world-class blues, local food trucks, and craft beverages. Secure your $50 Early Bird ticket while they are still available (children under 16 free with paid adult.) Blues enthusiasts won't want to miss the exclusive VIP 21+ ONLY party from 6:30 PM to 8:30.
