🚑 Trump Survives Attack, Shooter and Rally Attendee Killed

During a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania yesterday, Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt that left him injured then declared “fine”. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed by the Secret Service. One rally attendee died, while two others were critically injured. The FBI and state authorities are investigating the incident, with no established motive yet. Despite the attack, Trump plans to attend the Republican National Convention starting Monday.

For KayLee Parson, owner of Painting With a Twist on North Powers, art has always been about connection. From her early days owning a mobile mosaic art studio in high school to teaching art in countries like Japan, Honduras, and Italy, KayLee has found joy in sharing her passion with others.

After moving to Colorado Springs in 2015 with her husband, KayLee continued to spread her love for art as a middle school art teacher and instructor at Painting With a Twist. Painting With a Twist also hosts a variety of themed events, from Trivia Nights and Murder Mystery evenings to Sing and Paint gatherings and Blacklight painting experiences. Looking for a more individualized experience? Drop in during DIY hours and explore a range of projects, from home décor to figurines, complete with video instruction.
