Remember when your heart brimmed with boundless creativity, when no dream seemed too big? Before life's challenges dimmed that spark within you? Let us introduce you to Matti, a 14-year-old jewelry maker whose vibrant spirit reminds us of the importance of nurturing young dreams.

At just 10 yrs old, Matti launched "Made by Matti," her jewelry business, fueled by creativity and a desire to earn some spending money. When life threw her a curveball—a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis at 11—after being confused about the disease, Matti didn't falter. She is a testament to the power of youthful resilience when confronting life's unexpected turns.

Today, Matti's jewelry line raises funds for diabetes research, each unique piece reflecting her unwavering determination. As a Youth Advocate for the Children's Diabetes Foundation, she transforms personal challenge into a mission that touches lives. Her "It's Cool To Be Kind" collection also reminds us to cultivate compassion for others AND ourselves.
