After being caught in the unexpected closure of the Painted Tree retail space that forced local merchants to pivot within days, things changed on a dime. Now, in Black Forest, Amber Gilchrist is helping our community discover more than just beautiful stones. At Colorado Crystal Connections, she's guiding customers on personal journeys of inner peace and tranquility through the world of crystals and minerals.

Colorado Crystal Connections is a local small business specializing in crystals, minerals, and stones in both polished and raw forms. But for Amber, it's about much more than simply selling inventory.

When asked what crystals customers are most drawn to, Amber says that it varies based on what people are seeking or need in their lives. Even her own connection to crystals shifts day by day.

Education is a cornerstone of Colorado Crystal Connections. Amber takes time to teach about different crystals and minerals, sharing knowledge about their properties and uses. Some of her most meaningful moments come from these educational exchanges. Then when someone finds that specific item that they've been looking for, or the excitement about earning more, that is when she reflects on her work with joy.
