Step into the soothing, earthy atmosphere of Rhonda Lee Pottery, where cool clay spins into beautiful, everyday art. Since 1976, Rhonda has dedicated her life to transforming simple earth into functional pieces you can actually prep with, serve from, and enjoy at your own dinner table.

At her Northeast Colorado Springs studio on Montarbor Dr, she offers intimate private and semi private lessons. Learning to master the pottery wheel is a delightful, engaging puzzle of coordination. It is a bit like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. However, Rhonda removes all the pressure to be perfect. Her classes are filled with grace and humor. If a student's pot suddenly decides to take a comedic leap off the wheel, it does not cause frustration. Instead, it becomes a shared laugh and a cherished memory between friends.

Recently, life threw an unexpected curveball. The Painted Tree retail space closed its doors without any warning, leaving local vendors like Rhonda scrambling to find new homes for their handcrafted work.

Nevertheless, working with clay teaches a resilience. Rhonda adapted beautifully and is now bringing her exquisite pottery to The Love Shop in Monument. Right now, you can find her charming leaf spoon rests, pine tree business card holders, and practical sponge holders on their shelves. She is even crafting special mountain and pine tree themed pieces exclusively for this new space.
